What is going on with UGA Rush??

Hi guys, I'll take 16 who really WANT to be there over 50 so-sos any day.

IMHO, sometimes we tend to focus heavily on what the chapter does and we forget the PM factor. There are women out there who will only accept bids from one or two sororities and that's it! They have listend to the "tent/lounge talk" or they truly believe everyone who says,"you were meant to be an XYZ". They will sign thier pref cards and only put down thier top choices regardless if they went to those Preferences or not. That really screws everybody else up.

FWIW - UGA did have an NPC consultant to come in last year and tweeked thier system. One thing that was found was that no one was really following release figures. Most were carrying girls up to pref. and making heavycuts at that time. So in 2002, the consultant comes in and the results were very heavy cuts early on and lots of disappointed PMs. Things were supposed to work more smoothly this year but obviously didn't. Next year should be the real test to see if they keep the recommendations or start over.
