Well, I got all 8 invites back, one from a house I didn't expect, but I'm glad I got to give them another chance! Here we go. It's in no real order this time because I can't decide who I like the best
Strawberry: This house was really nice. I didn't really feel a connection the first time, and 2 of the three girls I talked to seemed kind of shy, but One of the newer memebers talked to me and another rushee inbetween and was really excited. Her roommate was one of the girls I talked to the first day, and we ran into her again. Their craft was really cute.
Peach: This house is totally growing on me!I had sooo much in common with the first girl I talked to I didn't even get to do any of my craft! It turns out we will be moving into the same apt complex and she made me promise to come visit her. All the girls were so sweet!!
Mango: Oh my gosh, I love these girls!!! We did a really nice craft, but again, we talked so much that I didn't get a lot of it done. One of the girls I talked to the first day came over and sat with us and we got into a great conversation about the Rocky Horror Picture show (I used to be in it) that totally surprised me!!
Grape: Again, so in love with this chapter!! The girls I talked to today were super silly like me and totally in love with the dorky 80's!! All the girls I talked to before said hi to me, and I just felt sooo comfortable there. I really hope I get to go back. I really love their philanthropy, it's very close to my heart.
Plum: It's interesting how a different set of girls can change the way you feel about a chapter. Yesterday I was totally in love with this house. Today, I still really like them, but I'm not as ecstatic as I was before. They were very nice girls, I just didn't feel as connected as I did with the 4 I'd chatted with yesterday.
Pear: This house has amazing women!! All the girls I talked to were super friendly, funny, and the conversation felt so natural. We didn't reaaly do much for he craft (just cut out some felt stuff) but I loved talking to the women, and I got to chat with the girls from yesterday again.
Raspberry: I really liked this house the first time, but I'm not as into it today. The girls were nice, but the conversation didn't really flow, and I didn't feel comfortable there at all.
Blueberry: I can't beleive these girls invited me back! They were nice yesterday, but definitely seemed like the type that would never talk to me outside of rush. The girls that rushed me today (one in particular) seemed definitely more like me, very silly and fun, but again, all the girls seemed kinda the same, and I didn't really feel like I fit in there.
So today we narrow it down to five, and I hope that I get to back to at least
Mango,
Grape, and
Pear. I figure hoping for three is pretty realistic. Tomorrow starts at 7am and I'm wearing a knee length, sleevless, "Jackie O" looking dress. Light blue with dark blue piping and beige wedge sandals. Thanks for your good wishes!!
PS-AXWhoa, I'm sure you guys are pretty crazy (I met some pretty enthusiastic sisters
) and I loved that you guys had your risk management chair speak. I hope when this is all over I get the chance to meet more of you, and yourself especially!!
