My sentiments, exactly, Soror 411. Ideal08, I TRULY understand about personal conflicts. But what happened to having the courage and strength to overcome situations? Imagine being an honors student, president of an organization on campus, a resident advisor, and all of a sudden, having the center of your world erupt because a parent dies of cancer. Instead of making excuses why personal conflicts could possibly influence your GPA, use that same energy to maintain and study harder.

And I'm not trying to offend anyone, I am just asking an honest question.
My question is this: If you can't handle A, B, and C, now before you are online (and cross), what makes you think that you can do it after you become a member. Because we as greeks all know that the REAL work begins once you are in. It's just that I get tired of people making excuses (and what are excuses?????) for why they have horrible GPA's and want to pledge a BGLO. It's about priorities, folks!

And if prospectives can't handle it, maybe they should focus on GPA, and decide
not to pledge until their ducks are in order.

Sorry, I have gotten off topic. I am passionate about this.
