This morning on "Spoke 'n Heard" they had Jay-Z talking about an artist on his label, Kayne West. They showed Kayne's video for "Through the Wire" and he has a line in the song about his girl being a Delta. They show a woman displaying the hand sign, then later they show more sisters at a food place giving the sign, too. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen it yet.

Edited because I said "Spoke n Word" instead of "Spoke n Heard" LOL

I have to keep an eye out for it, they just need to give the sorors their props as they have been using our hand signs.

I saw Carl Thomas' video for "She Is" today. As someone said on AKA Ave., believe it was 2D, there is no info for any type of album name. It did say he was on Bad Boy although I thought he left the label. LL was looking TOO GOOD with all his muscles!! Right now I'm watching Alicia Keys' Access Granted for "You Don't Know My Name". I really like the concept. Beyonce also is having an Access Granted tonight for "Me, Myself, & I".

ETA: I LOVED Alicia's video, even with her love interest choice. BTW, Beyonce's AG is not on for some reason.

nappy roots ahs a new video for their new single, "sick and tired." since i am such a n.r. fan, i saw the video on the internet and it will be the new video of the day on 106th and park--it is a really good video

alicia keys new video is hot! i love it. mos def even looks kinda cute in it. is it just me or has alicia put on a few pounds? regardless, i love the video. the party scene reminds me of the party scene from cooley high

who's seen missy's new video? it's like 3-in-1. in the first part of the video, i find myself trying to catch the beat. it's like the beat of the music, the cadence of her rap and the dancer's beat are all totally different. then, in true missy fashion, when the actual song kicks in, you find yourself wondering "wth?" but i love the kids she always has dancing in her video. the last part is rather blah. but did yall check homegirl showing all this leg? do yo thang missy

that derek luke is a cutie in monica's video. but, i'm not feeling the wet-n-wavy weave when the fast music starts.

kelis video for milk shake reminds me of a beyonce video. but, i like the video--it's cool.

also, i was watching uncut and i saw the jackie-o video "nookie." homegirl is more tatted up than monica and it aint cute. actually, she isn't cute but whoever did her makeup did a wonderful job. that song is just so dang annoying!

Yeah, Alicia did gain some weight. I LOVE this song!!! I can't wait for her new album to drop.

I like "Pass the Dutch"/"Wake Up". Missy is definitely doing her thang!! Why did I find myself trying to do the Dutch Dance? It reminds me of like a hip-hop riverdance.

I think she looks nice with the weight. I love that song, and I love that video. I've always liked mos def, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is I like about him.

He's intelligent. He looks like a man who thinks before he speaks, so his words carry weight. He has proven himself and is confident. He doesn't come off as cocky with all his success, just grateful and down to earth. You can see it a mile away and it is VERy attractive.
