so i looooove the nappy roots new song & video. for the last 2 days, i've been singing "the whole wide world' countraaay." and let me say that the one who wears the cowboy hat is pretty cute to me. i want to meet them. they seem like they are just some cool people to be around.

i like "like glue" by sean paul. and i aint gone even tell yall that i went to the club trying to do those dances they call out at the end of the video ;)

yes, 50 looks fly in his white but snoop's cameo is questionable--the hair and pinkie nails had me looking at the screen like :o and :confused:

b2k's new video "what a girl wants" is a bit WACK! the part i REALLY REALLY REALLY hate is their shout outs at the end, especially when lil' fizz says "i'm a sag." WTF??? can i get him to complete the word??

the video for the remix to "never scared" just gets me so crunk except for that ol' slow azz rapping cam'ron

when i watch ruben's video, i just get a smile on my face. i love that song and video. i like the clips of him and pictures of him as a child. i had to laugh at myself yesterday. i was by myself and watching the video, trying to sing along knowing full well i didn't know those words. but i kept on with the "hmm na hm yeah shubby do yeah..."

so calvin richardson has a new video. even though the man is fine and looks good, after his "relationship" with angie stone and how he did her, i can't even watch it :mad:

i love, in jay-z's new video "la la la" at the end when puff says "well watch me now." that is so funny to me

i love the song "officially missing you" by tamia. she is such a talented and overlooked writer. but, where in this world do people dress like that to walk down the street??

I am soooo loving Pharrell's video "Fronting", although he needs to keep his shirt on. The beat is sooo HOT!!! Can't wait for the Neptunes album to drop. :D :D :D

There were clips of Luther growing up, his father and mother...

I just saw Luther's video "Dance With My Father". It is really nice.
It features many stars (Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, Damon Wayans, etc) with their children and even grand kids. Others featured: Beyonce and her dad, clips from Whitney's wedding w/ her father; Holly Robinson-Peete and a photo from her wedding. Monica, Wylcef, Nona Gaye with pictures of their fathers.

It's a really nice video. :cool:

Luther's photos from school were included as well as pics of his father and mother.

That Luther video sounds really nice, AKA2D. Do you happen to have any updates on his condition?

MeezDiscreet, I'm currently searching for that Nappy Roots song. Do you know the exact name of it? I love them and Watermelon, Chicken, and Grits is a really good album.

"'roun the globe" is the name of the song. and i still bump w.c.&g too. as a matter of fact, i was listening to it on my way to work today

I like that lil song. "The whole dayum world is country...' At first, I was like :confused:, but then I thought about it....AND THEY ARE CORRECT. :D

I guess Luther is still progressing. There hasn't been any word about his condition recently. :confused:

Who is the girl in the Black-Eyed Peas video for "Where is the love?" Is she a new Pea? And what is everyone looking at in the end?

La La La La By Jay- Z is hot too. I think I like the song/beat better then the video.

Jewlz Santana's video is alright, once you get past the DIP SET !! DIP SET !! DIP SET !! OWWWW!!! chorus, which took me awhile, but I am starting to like that song.


And lastly, has anyone seen the new video w/Beyonce, MC Lyte and Free yet?

i saw it and it's colorful and everyone's makeup looks really tyte but the song sucks!!! i'm not impressed with free rhyming the word temptation back-to-back 3 times

I saw it and it was okaaaaaay. The song is good except for Free. Her part is terrible, but she looks good in the video.

Heck, I was just excited to see MC Lyte.

Yes, the girl in the BEP video is a new member.

I can't stand the "DIP SET" throughout the Juelz video. Plus, Cam'ron thinking he's the Pink Panther isn't helping.

Yes, I like the new Beyonce video ("Fighting Temptation"). I think I might go see the movie.

the video and hook are hilarious. personally i am tired of r kelly and mr. biggs, but this video and hook have taken the cake...

I'm tired of them..I am still waiting to the conclusion of "Down Low" and "Contagious" can we get those story lines wrapped up? Shouldn't Mr. Biggs just kill R. Kelly I mean he took his girl twice (Chante and Garcelle) and was playing his niece (Kelly Price video) the next thing we know he will be Raven Symone's grandfather trying to keep Robert away. :p

Make that three times if you include the "Busted" video. And that's just what the video is, busted. Ron Isley looks like a giant woodchuck to me in this video (sorry De6:o ). But if you want a good laugh, this is a good video pick.

How could Mr. Biggs not have recognized him (R. Kelly) in the "Contagious" video, when he goes "How you know my name son?" I mean he beat him half to death in "Down Low" shouldn't he remember that?

But wait...I think Mr. Biggs already played a grandfather in the B2K video with Vivica Fox and Will Smith...I don't know the name of the song though. It may have been the "Girlfriend" video re-mix, I am not sure.


I like the song and video too, and I like how they included members of the military in it at the end.


I also like "Steppin Out" by Big Gipp featuring Sleepy Brown and Mary's video for "Love at First Sight." Even though these two videos aren't really innovative, it doesn't matter to me because I usually jump up and dance when they come on anyway (LOL):D
