I just got back from NLC. They told us that ZTA will be expanding to Christopher Newport Univ., but I am not sure when. I think that it might not be until Spring 2005.

Here is a little blurb from ASA's msn group telling about the school's plans...
Christopher Newport has undergone a shift in its student population from a more non-traditional student to more students in the 18-22 age range. Student enrollment has increased steadily from 5,004 in 1998 to 5,391 in 2002. The percentage of women students to men has remained around 60-40 with more women on campus. In 1998, 579 students lived on campus and this year there are 2,058. A new residence hall is being built. For more information about the school, the website is www.cnu.edu Total is 50 and quota for spring 2003 deferred rush was 19. The Panhellenic has a 2.4 GPA requirement to receive a bid. There are currently three sororities - Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta and Phi Mu. The University would like to see the Greek population increase to 15% or more by 2006-07, which would include a total of 6-8 sororities. The university is attempting to build more of a traditional Greek system. There is a new colony of Sigma Phi Epsilon this spring and Kappa Sigma will be colonizing in the fall.
There were four groups making presentations this past April - ASA, ZTA, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Theta Phi Alpha.

Sorry, what GLO are you in? I'm guessing LXA or Kappa Sig since they're colonizing this year, just different semesters.
