I don't know if it's just me but I have loved my wife and kids since it first premiered. The way the parents act remind me how i grew up(a little, minus all of the issues), and i think that it portrays a black family in a good light. I am so proud that they have stayed on for 3+ seasons. It is good for us as a people to see the way that different families function, because i'm sure that there are many different ways of parenting.
But that is just my .02.
