This is not a childhod memory but it symbolizes why Easter is important to me.

I am Catholic and my mother was baptized in a Baptist church but she often attended my church and so she decided to join my church in 1998 on Holy Saturday/Easter Sunday morning, early the next year, they thought that she would be dead before Easter (she had cancer), turns out that, sick and all, she went to church on the anniversary of her membership into the church.

This year, my fiance, who has never been baptized, will not only join my church but also join in the body of Christ, through baptizm, during the exact same mass that my mother became a member of the church.

They loved each other very much (she has since died) and I am sure that she is pleased to see that he is making steps to make our family a unified body in Christ.

God is good all the time!
