I was in Columbus all weekend with Mr. honeychile & a lot of our internet soccer friends (
www.bigsoccer.com). We saw the Columbus Crew tie the hated Dallas Burn on Saturday, then the US Men's National Team beat Paraguay 2-0 yesterday. It was something like 101° on the field, but more like 94-95° in the stands.
We tailgated, then sat with Sam's Army, a first for me. It was an experience I'll not soon forget!
I was slathering SPF #30 on every 10 minutes religiously, and was still pretty burned. I guess that's why everyone wears red - so you can't tell how badly you're burning!
Just wanted to see if anyone else was there!
