According to SAE at UT-Austin's (Rho Chapter) official webpage, the cost of renovating part of the chapter house (after a room was damaged by a fire) was $2.5 Million (Just for renovations).

The SAE Rho (UT-Austin) chapter recently completed a capital campaign which raised nearly $2 million dollars from Rho alumni/brothers alone.
