I disagree. I really don't exactly know what size Robin is (I have never met her or seen her in person), but I know that I'm 5'8" and weigh 165. I wear a 7/8 and can sometimes rock a 6. I have hips and a post exterior also. So I totally disagree with the statement that 168lbs never equaled a 6 unless you're a seven footer.

Robin was on ET last night and stated that she wears a size 6/8. She also said that anything over a size 4 is considered fat.

So yes, it is possible for someone to weigh in the 150's and still wear a 6/8 as long as you have the height...

Size 6????

That's great if she's a size 6...I need to know what type of clothes (designer) she is wearing so I can pick that up. A lot of times, it depends on the 'type' of clothes you wear and your make-up.

Currently, my weight goes from 135-140 and I'm 5'5 1/2. I can't breathe in most size 6s. Now, if it is something that is not supposed to be fitted...I'm straight. A six will do just fine. Most days, I find myself in a 7/8 or some days, jumping to a 10 on fitted dresses. And those 'designer' clothes......Tommy Hilfiger...some days its a 12 (no joke).

Yes, a lot of times it depends on the clothes you wear. But if she is almost 170 lbs (according to the scale on the first night, she weighed 168)....and can get into a 6...go head. I know these hips and thighs can't get into a 6 (not ever!!!!!.....unless I don't want to breathe or eat that day)

I'm not saying that Robin is lying...but those hips and thighs looked pretty big via the TV screen. Kesse was 135 and a little shorter than her and Robin looked a 'lot' bigger than her and I'd give Kessee a six. But we have to take her for her word. Personally, I wouldn't want to be on National TV talking about I wear a size 12 either. Nor would I want to say, yeah...I shook my chest at a gay man or that there were two women who didn't pose nude....but I was the only one to be kicked off. You respond to make yourself look good (not bad). Wouldn't you....Robin is only human (and a super-Christian....just kidding)

But one last observation: Per all the magazines....a 'plus' size model is someone who wears over a 10! Why in the heck would Tyra say in all her interviews that it was sooooo important to have a 'plus' size model to represent the 'real' women in the world and select a woman who 'wears' only a size six....that just doesn't add up. A six doesn't represent 1/2 the women in the US. Shoot, Tyra doesn't look like she wears a size 6...

PS: If anyone can tell me where I can find these 'big ole size sixes'...please let me know. I weighted only 120 pounds 4 years ago. This 135 is killing me.....this would definitely be a self-esteem booster for me.

IMHO, Robin didn't look like a size six to me either!! Ummm, let's say that she's bottom heavy, and that makes me believe that. That's just my opinion though!

You can disagree, that's fine. I believe what you are saying about your height and weight, but I have yet to see 165 or 168 equal a size 6. I'm sorry just haven't seen it and I'm including my weight in this as well with my hips and thighs...and I'm an inch shorter than you. I know people are proportioned differently but I'm just not seeing that...sorry.

The seven footer comment was an exaggeration but anyway I know the real deal which is not the television size "6" Robin.

Well whether Robin is a 6, 7, or 67, she just wasn't hungry. And by that I mean she didn't want it enough. Elyse and Adrienne are competing HARD for that title, and that's why they are still in the running. I honestly think it has less to do with race and size (Tyra seems to have the final say so and we have all seen how staunchly she was supporting Robin the whole time), than just an overall drive to win.

Regardless of what size robin wears, a size 12 is not big. And saying you wear a size 12 or above is nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe in the whitewashed anorexic modeling industry it is, but in the real world of cheescake, grits, and bread its cool for me. I guess I am big as hell then because I can wear sizes from 11/12's to 13/14's. I say as long as you're happy with the skin you are in, wear what ya like and if you can inspire others with a great sense of fashion and confidence, please go for it no matter what your size.

I agree! I am, however, currently rocking a 16 to 18 and I HATE IT!! *hiding my face* That's exactly why I am doing something about it. I am trying to lose the weight so that I can be happy. I know that I would be cool saying that I wear a 14, but beyond that, I'm too ashamed. I think that Robin is a nice size and I don't think that she should feel bad. Hey, I'm trying to get to 170 and she is trying to lie about her weight. Just the fact that she was selected is inspiration enough! I congratulate Robin on making it as far as she did. God knows that Janice was against her on all levels. I know that I may always be considered a "big girl" regardless of what size I get down to. But that's cool with me because as long as I like it, everyone else should love it!

I agree...

I definitely agree...that a size 12 is not that big and nothing to be ashamed of. However, you must remember....there's some things 'ladies' have always kept secret...their weight, age, size of clothes and etc. It's not that you are 'ashamed'...its just that women don't tell.

And you are definitely right...she looks good at whatever size she is. I just don't think 'A plus size model who 'supposedly' represents most American women is a size 6/8'. If that was the case....Tyra could have kept all those comments throughout the show. A 6/8 definitely doesn't 'represent' most women in America!

At the time of the ET interview she could have lost weight and been down to a 6 or an 8. I don't want to say that she lied. Maybe I am too gullible and believe people too much all the time...

My home girl in MD has a huge butt. It was so big that she had to wear a size 10 but her waist was a 5/6. She was shaped like an hourglass because of her large breasts. She was a plus size @ 5'3, 125lbs.

MY POINT: YOU CAN BE A PLUS SIZE WITH A SIZE 6 WAIST. Don't hate these people because their weight goes to all the right places.

But why didn't Robin win the Etiquette competition? What's that about? That's why I said she didn't want to win. She could have kept her clothes on, won that portion, and been on her way. Tyra looked like she wanted to cry when she said goodbye to Robin. Didn't Robin say something about the guys and their interests? I don't want to miss quote her but I was under the impression that she was second-guessing their intentions. Perhaps she forgot that they were JUDGES!

Robin felt that they were out for more than dinner and conversation. I admit that they were a little too "friendly" with Adrienne and Elyse, but hey.... I also think that they were kind of slighting Robin because she was not of the same skin color and wasn't model thin like the French women that they are used to. Yet, I digress... Don't let me start that.

I feel that Robin was being very diva-like during the whole competition, though I don't blame her for looking crazy at the food. I can't eat just anything and that mess looked gross. It was SNAILS, for God's sake!! I would have gagged. RD doesn't eat strange things.
