First and foremost, I must throw in a word of caution when expressing opinions regarding IHQ/International Council rules and policies. Okay? Okay. Remember, YOU DON'T KNOW WHO COULD BE READING YOUR POSTS!!!

Regarding Accomplished Alpha Gams, IHQ does have a special section featuring these sisters on their website. Some may have more "notoriety" than others, but these sisters are special and talented in their own way, and oftentimes the website will feature a sister on their "In The Spotlight" section.

That being said, I think Katie Jolley and the rest of the communications staff has done a wonderful job thus far in promoting a positive image for the Fraternity. I know that a lot of work went into creating and designing the "Surrounded by Sisterhood" slogan with the red and buff roses.

I believe that the responsibility of publicizing Alpha Gam does not solely rest on IHQ and International Council. It's our responsibility too! As Campus Relations Advisor for Delta Sigma, I always encourage the collegians to wear their letters proudly, but responsibly.

If a girl wanted to join AGD, I'd want her to join because she sees how strong our sisterhood is and likes what our Fraternity stands for, not because Amber Brkich and Rita Coolidge are our sisters.
