i think having an age range of 18-25 is very typical of the real world. i teach in a school where there are 2 of us in our 20s....everyone else is in their 30s or 40s or 50s. we all get along just fine. people don't view me as a child or treat me differently because i am only 27. i have plenty of friends in other occupations who have co workers who vary in age as well. it is very rare to work in a job with people of the same age. i think having this type of experience in college would be a benefit to all parties. the younger women can gain some mature views while the older women can learn to party like a rock star (just kidding).
