I hated to see Kesse go myself and I too was shocked at the plastic surgeon addicts compliment b/c last week sistah-friend had a penis and looked like a boy.

I have been routing for Robin since the first show, even though deep down I felt it would be a great accomplishment if she was the finalist, but she has too many negatives that's mentioned every week- age, size, religious beliefs.

I was talking to someone and said that she was too religious and I corrected myself and said that she sort of imposes her religion onto others and that will be her down fall -in addition to not getting naked. I don't blame her though. I was raised in a pentecostal church and I wouldn't be comfortable posing nude.

I'm happy that she does have a contract though, so not all was lost.

Unless she does something totally off the wall I think it's going to be Elyse- although I hate to think that b/c of her superiority attitude. Is it me or does she have a passive-aggresive personality. She gets off on watching folks that she don't like get into with others (cause she herself can't deal).

I was surprised to see her (Kesse) go also. I think the judges were crying because after the fact they figured they made a huge mistake. Because I feel Adrienne mumbling behind should have been voted off I mean she looked a mess and she talks like Charlie Brown.

I am still in shock! Kesse is gone

Druggie should have gotten eliminated! She looked like a trailer park groupie in Paris! She couldn't find the offices because she can't read!!! She was right across the street from where she needed to be and it took a stranger on the street to tell her! She's an idiot!

Elyse. My goodness... I am soooo sick of the 12 year old boy look alike. Her picture this week was so goofy. Beau cracked me up when he said she looked like a boy. Now, haven't we been saying that all along? ELIMINATE HER PLEASE!!!!

Robin, I hate to say it, but if she don't get naked, she's a goner. I think it's great if she sticks to her stance and not fall victim to something she doesn't agree with. Adrienne's high butt couldn't wait to get out of her clothes, she must have been promise a dime bag.

Shannon might win. Anyone but the boy or the druggie!

Unhappy

Wow, like everybody else I am still in shock! Kesse??? I really thought she was going to do even better than she already did. I don't know who to root for now! Ms. Heroine, Little Boy Blue or Amplifier aka Shannon! Guess I'll just have to watch out of curiosity!

I am also hurt that Kesse got voted off. I felt like this would be the opportune time for her to have her breakthrough. Her situation at home doesn't seem so great, so this would be a wonderful time for her break free...dang, I was so surprised that she got voted off.

I'm sorry, but ROBIN is getting on my nerves! She's my soror and all, but she can't FORCE people to have the same beliefs as her. And she was talking about she wasn't nervous, but I saw her crying when Robin was talking to her. She needs to kill that "holier than thou" attitude because I know she does SOMETHING!!! STOP FRONTIN'! She's hurting herself because it's obvious that Tyra likes her, Kimora even likes her, but everybody else wants her out, so she needs to stop buggin'!

Another great episode!

I agree with delph998. I've been routing for Robin since day 1, but sistah friend needs to come off the holy rolly attitude. Noone on this earth is without some blemish-. The Bible says that judgment belongs only to God.

Robin is a beautiful sistah that would do better to lead by example. Allow people to "SEE" the God in her instead of talking at people.

IMO, Kesse is the better example. She said she was a Christian in the beginning and left it at that. Everyone was touched when she was eliminated, even Elyse. Kesse didn't bash the religion over everyones head.

Exactly, the best witnesses live it more than they preach it. I did not like Kesse at first. I mainly formed my impression from the commercials -- breasts and what not. But after watching her in action, she quickly became my favorite. I like how she did not bash or judge. I loved the comment in the TV guide article -- she was not going to be on TV acting a fool for TV.

Well i finally get to see the episode @ 11pm on Fox, i feel like MS is light years behind, maybe we could start a letter writing campaign to get UPN !
ETA: No not Kesse, maybe Adrienne though! This was a very, very sad episode, there will be some drama next week. I do appaulad(sp?) Robin for standing up for what she belives in (as far as nude shoots) but some of that is to be expected in the modeling industry

an interview w/Kesse

This website does interviews w/all the girls who have been eliminated on Top Model-girlposse.com.

The Interview

We are now more than half way through the eliminations on America's Next Top Model. Through most of the interviews we've been a bit surprised by the personalities of the girls compared to what we expected by watching them on TV. This week we were happy to find that Kesse was exactly as we expected her. She was as sweet, kind and open as she appeared on the series, without a negative comment about anyone or anything to do with the show.

Kesse had never modeled before. After seeing an ad for the open call, she auditioned in Little Rock for America's Next Top Model. It was about 2 months later when she got the call telling her she made the semi-finals. After a week of interviews and evaluations she made the final cut. Knowing she would be moving in with 9 other women, Kesse went in with an open mind. "You can't think everyone is like you. Or like people you know. Everyone is so different." She believes that it was this school of thought that allowed her to get along with everyone.

The experience was better than she thought it would be. "Tyra really wants it to be special...she wanted to give us the best of everything...I had a blast! Something I will never forget." Kesse explained the hardest part of being on the show. "The first week was the hardest, being criticized by the judges. After a while I said Hey, this is what's it like in this industry. They're preparing us for this..." She was focused and motivated by what she was learning.

The cameras didn't seem to bother Kesse at all. "You knew they were there. The first week I'd try not to look in the camera, but I would and I know I'm not supposed to look in the camera. But after about a week you were used to it." I had wanted to ask Kesse about the cattiness in the house, but somehow her sweet demeanor started rubbing off on me, and I forgot! Instead we talked about what she loved most about the whole experience. "The swim suit shoot, and the movement shoot. The movement shoot was fun. There was music playing, I was getting into it." Kesse was also one of the lucky gals to visit Paris. "I loved Paris. It was so beautiful. Just knowing I was there was wonderful. I definitely recommend Paris."

It was in Paris that Kesse was eliminated. "It was time." When asked why this Tyra look-alike was cut, she said "I've always heard I looked like Tyra, even before the show. But when Tyra said it, the first week...wow." She doesn't believe it had anything to do with why she was eliminated. "It was a versatility issue. They need someone to do all different types of modeling, which I understand. They really have to focus on what they want in America's Next Top Model."

We tried to get out of her who she thought would win. "I don't know. That's the hardest question. All of the girls are going to get something from this." We couldn't even get her to say who she wanted to win. (Laughing) "I just don't know!" Instead we asked if any of the eliminations really surprised her. "Yes, Katie. I was surprised she left so early."

Kesse has absolutely no regrets, and wouldn't have changed a thing. Now that they are looking for the next round of models, we asked Kesse if she had any advice for the future girls. "Go into this 100%. Don't half step at all. You have to go in believing 'I'm going to win' 'I'm going to do everything I can to win' You can't be wishy washy at all." We also think that any future girls should take Kesse's lead and go into a house full of women with a very open mind. It worked for her, and was one of the reasons we liked her so well. After nearly 3 weeks of close living quarters, Kesse still talks to Robin and Shannon all of the time. Kesse hopes for a reunion after the show ends so she can catch up with the rest of the girls.

What's next for Kesse? "I want to do a lot. Modeling, acting, maybe singing." She is waiting for the show to come to a close before moving on. She is still living in Arkansas, but looking to move very soon. We're waiting for Kesse to take on the world with a smile and her sweet demeanor. We hope she never loses that!
