I think that may the control room. There is usually a room hidden in every Real World house that acts as the control room, where they look at the footage. Puff had to let them know that they had to stay out because you know how people get when they are somewhere new and fancy. They want to see and touch everything in every room, but they are not supposed to go into the control room. The residents know that they are being taped, but I don't think that they
really know what goes on behind the scenes. I don't think that they realize that someone is in that room 24/7 watching their EVERY move on camera.
