I'm definately not into politics, but it could be because of all the opponent bashing commercials you see on TV. So obnoxious!

Everyone must chill.
I like politics and I have my opinions, but for the most part I keep them to myself in real life.
Have a nice day to all the Independents, Republicans, and Democrats.

Color me socially liberal (WAY liberal), yet fiscally moderate. I'm a registered Democrat but voted Green in 2000, and will likely switch to Independent in '04.

I took a quiz once to see if I was "Left" or "Right" and my results were right smack down the middle. Personally I think people that get their panties in a twist about "the other side" are nuts.
I registered Independent because I think both sides are full of crap. I have no clue how the heck I'm going to vote next year lol.

This is the first laugh I've had regarding politics! Now that was pretty funny - seriously! I am not being sarcastic, but will probably stand accused of such! I just like how you took the gloves off and laid it out there

LMAO! That made me laugh out loud! Thanks!
I am not a registered democrat, but my views definitely veer to the left! But I appreciate discussions...

I didn't mean to be quite so harsh, but I just think that many political viewpoints are too narrow-minded... or maybe that's the point? It's like you have to adhere to all of their specific viewpoints to align yourselves with them, and I think that's very difficult to do. People aren't from a cookie cutter... each person has unique beliefs and I think that trying to group someone into a party isn't "fair" (I know that's not the right word, but my brain is fried). At least, I don't think that I fit in with either of these groups.
I also think that most people involved with the political parties are pretty corrupt, and I love how their supporters refuse to see that, but the moment the opposing party does the same damn thing, they're all over it like termites on rotting wood. Another reason why I really try not to align myself with one particular group.
Why can't we just have a bunch of people talk about the way they think the country should be run, and then you vote for the person who think will do the best job? Why do we have to have these "alligiences"? Call me a bad sister, but if one of my sisters was running for some sort of Student Gov't office and I thought someone outside of my sorority would do a better job than she would, I'd vote for the other person. After all, they have "authority" over me, and I'd want the person in that office that would do the better job. You would hope that the person who is your sister would do a good job, but part of being sisters is that you respect and understand people's faults. Say my sister really wanted the job but was really unorganized or too busy, and her opponent is perfect for the position. I love her and respect that she's not perfect, but I'm not going to set her up for failure or hurt our Student Gov't.
That might be a little controversial for some people, and I apologize, but I want the best person to do the job.

Big question
Say you're at a Democratic convention or fundraising dinner, how do you bag two chicks so you can have a threesome with them?

I am 110% agreed with you -- this is the way I *should* have stated myself -- unfortunately, I let the heat get to me, and the sarcasm mixed with heat didn't work out well.
Yes, GC, AXO Alum is offering her APOLOGY for getting too heated up about things that shouldn't matter (meaning, that to us here on GC it shouldn't matter since, as texas*princess pointed out, we aren't in the senate or anything). I mean, yes, my view point does matter to me -- but no, I shouldn't have gotten heated up about it and let it get the best of me to drag it out. I apologize for this.

That's not enough. We took a vote and the only way to really apologize is to post provocative pictures.
