I think that Shannon is so excited because she has a crush on the male model that they are working with in the photo shoot. On one of the first episodes, she told the girls that she was in love with him and that he was going to be her boyfriend, but he just didn't know it yet (because they never met).

How did you remember that? It's been so much drama on the show that I can hardly remember what happened in the previous two episodes let alone the first one. That's cool. Well, I can't wait to see who goes home tonight.
