(In your words) "traditionally" WGLO's are no different, we just don't have stepshows to throw off on one another. For NPC sororities on my campus, rush is a HUGE time to show our butts to each other. We come up with hilarious songs about each other and see who can out shout the songs at bid day. This is before the new rushees (I'm old school) are in the auditorium - when they come in we start singing greek unity songs...until after every rushee is announced to her new sorority. After that we all start up again - its really funny especially when we know we got a girl that XYZ was really dying to get. No harm no foul - in fact we talk about how XYZ had the best song and stuff. It was a big thing to do at Greek Week till they started penalizing the groups for non-unified spirit. (STUPID!!!) The fraternities will throw off on each other any time, anywhere. They do get serious though and a lot of fights happen on weekends and at parties. I would agree that as long as you aren't questioning founding or symbolism, these things are okay and can be pretty funny when we're all doing it together!

*Of course these are my views and do not necessarily represent those of my organization, sisters, or others *
