JAM and others: OK, here's some history about the Gamma Phi Beta chapter at WSU. Like DDD and DG, it was formed from a petitioning local, Pi Kappa Psi. I don't know when the local was first established, but it obviously existed for some time because when Gamma Phi installed the chapter in 1958 there were 69 alumnae initiated in addition to 48 members of the local, according to Gamma Phi's book "The Gift from Syracuse."
