Hi ladyg_tpapratt! I'm from Kappa chapter, and I know that one thing that worked for us this spring was getting our friends to join. Probably about half of our 40 person chapter joined because current sisters brought their friends up to our suite to meet the sisters. This semester during recruitment, we just used the same strategy of getting our friends outside the sorority to meet our sisters, and we ended up with the largest pledge sister class on our campus-11 new sisters!
I think probably the best advice I could give is to be yourselves, to be open and meet other girls in your classes and introduce them to your friends who just so happen to be sisters. Not only would that increase your size, but it also creates a greater sense of closeness within your chapter/colony! Our chapter is extremely tight and we've gained a lot more confidence through this strategy! Are you going to leadership conference in June?
