Well, I don't know how much help I can be but I can tell you basically what my chapter/campus does. My school is predominantly a commuter school and pretty anti-greek for the number of students we have. Anyway, we usually have about 4 rush events: the first one is a getting to know each other night with ice breaker games, the second is a philanthropy night - for example, this semester we made Valentine's Day cards for the troops overseas, the third night was a game night - we had puzzles and silly games that no one really played, instead we all ended up just talking, and the fourth night was an ice cream social.

I only rushed this past semester, but I really liked the fact that it was so laid back. I missed the first night, and I was the only rushee at the other events, but it was really comfortable just getting to know everyone.

Before all the rush events we have a Meet the Greeks night where all the GLOs set up a table with information on their organizations. I didn't go to this because it was kind of intimidating but it's a pretty good idea for a campus that doesn't have formal rush.

All I can suggest is lots of fliers, lots of letters so people on campus see you, maybe setting up a website, and talking to girls about rush/sororities - explaining it's not what they probably think it's like. Hope this helped a little!
