Milwaukee and Madison, although very different, are great places. We lived in Milwaukee from 1975 to 1977 and loved it. I worked at a local TV station at the time.
Great neighborhoods and neighborhood bars. Wonderful friendly people.
Our oldest daughter was born there. Mrs. DeltAlum was a docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
And, if you run out of things to do or can't find something, only 90 minutes by car from Chicago.
