I would probably agree with damasa here. I don't think it's right that people all across the world have to live with the repercussions of their own choices, and these girls [and their parents] think they are too special to have to do that too.
I also agree with Midwestergirl with the story about her neice and how they were made to
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS.
If you ask me, these kids got off easy with the school, their grades were frozen, they still get their oh-so-coveted GBN degree, and all they have to do is community service & some kind of therapy. Sure, they probably won't get to go to prom, or "walk" at graduation.. but their parents will probably make a prom and separate graduation for them anyway. (at least that's what someone said in the other thread about the kids
demanding their diplomas so they could have a graduation of their own.)
