I have indeed heard the SL:3 girls have been "boring" (which probably means nice and sweet), and that there were rumblings MTV wouldn't air the third season. As for FL:2, I have no clue - but I do know that I have received more rude emails from that bunch than I have received regarding all 4 other shows (SL:O, SL:2, SL:3 & FL:1) combined.
