I should probably clarify what I said as well. I'm not a DG (there's not a DG chapter at 'Bama). Most houses have a gpa requirement, but some may not be as strict as others, especially if you have extenuating circumstances. So, no matter what house you're in, you may want to explain your gpa problem to whomever is rushing you on the first day and/or the recruitment chairs for each house.
