I went to a workshop at Regionals, and the presenter said that if we had any at home, throw them away because they do not represent Alpha Kappa Alpha. I collect frogs (cute ones), but I don't buy or accept a frog with AKA on it.
Ran across this thread and thought it was worth bringing back to the top. Was having this discussion with a LS some months back - we pledged grad chapter nearly 13 years ago - and much of what I've heard recently about mascots I see repeated here. Are there any new/different mascots discusssed now? I found this thread to be quite interesting.
