I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and I must say I had a wonderful time. The particular house I helped build allowed an under privileged family of 6 move out of subsidized housing. The area in which the house was being built was not the greatest, however, they were moving away from an even worse area. The contractor's that were working on the house were very helpful and made sure the women were under "watchful eyes" at all times
My job was nailing the kitchen floor and putting in the cabinets.
