I went thru the same experience 2 yrs. ago. I'm telling you that I had to question HIM too b/c my Mom had lung cancer and she didn't smoke. But when I tell you that HE will give you peace (and strength)that surpasses all understanding, I mean it--HE will.
Please just keep trusting and believing in HIM and HIS word. Also read Psalms 27--the entire chapter. I am a living witness that HE will help thru this.
I bet, right now, you are doing things for your Mom that you thought you would never do. Well, that's God helping you and giving you strength to take care of her like you are.
Although it may not seem like it now, HE does love you and your Mom.
