what did you not like about rushing?

I know a lot of people don't like being rushed by someone who's sitting on the floor while they're sitting in a chair or on a couch. I thought it was awkward too. But, our PX explained to us that most houses did it because PNMs might not know they would have to sit on the floor and may have worn clothing in which it would be difficult to get up and down from the floor. After she explained that it made a lot more sense.
