I know what you feel. I wasn't given a bid last year either. But make your decision on what you want to do.
If you think it'd be fun, go for it.
If you think you wouldn't like what you'd be getting into, then don't.
I've convinced a lot of girls to rush (ok, like 3, but I'm making a point, okay?
) based on the idea that you'll get out and meet people. There's no harm in doing that. And if you don't get a bid, then you've lost nothing, but you may have gained a friend.
