Post Targeted expansion?

Here’s something to think about, I’d like some opinions…

In the past year or so, every school my sorority has established a colony at or given a presentation at has been religiously affiliated. (I’m talking approximately 8 – 10 schools, throughout the country) Now maybe this is just a big ol’ coincidence, or maybe those are the only places that invited them in, but I think it’s weird. We are a member of NPC and as such can have no religious restrictions.

It's probably just a coincidence. Many faith-based institutions (mostly Catholic or Protestant, not Baptist) are shying away from the liablity of having local groups and are encouraging their GLOs to affiliate with a national organization. There is actually a Catholic/Jesuit based sorority (Kappa Beta Gamma) that used to be a member of the NPC, but dropped their affiliation when their number of chapter fell. There are still about 4-6 active chapters in the US, all at Catholic or Jesuit colleges.

What sorority are you in? Just curious to see where you're expanding to..

If you have to go around telling everyone you're in charge you're not much of a leader.
