Have you thought of becoming a member of Doubleday Book Club? All their books are hard cover. They have many of Eric Jerome Dickey's novels. They also have a great African-American fiction section.
I only buy hard cover books because they last longer. I have been a member now for five years. I would recommend it if you are an avid reader and prefer hardcover books. Also, you never pay full price. Check it out:
