The Gamma-Nu chapter of Kappa Sigma was founded March 6, 1909, in the 509th year of Kappa Sigma and the 40th year in America.

Since 1909, when we became the first National Fraternity on Washburn's campus, we have held a high tradition, initiating 1,306 gentleman as brothers and never having our charter taken away (suspended yes, taken, no).
