...and I'm still glad my 20's are over. To answer your question, I think in my 20's I felt a great deal of pressure to "do the right things" to please my parents as well as myself while setting a successful life course. It felt like a lot of pressure--very dramatic--because I was never sure whether what I was doing was "right." I'm still constantly making choices that take me down new roads, but the anxiety of making these choices has waned because I know now that whatever choices I make, everything will ALWAYS work out just as it should and that as long as I keep living, there will be daily opportunities to make new choices and follow new roads. I guess I just don't take life quite as seriously and nothing is really that dramatic.

I don't miss the drama but I could use a bit more excitement at this point in my life!

I'll be 23 on August 24th... and it's a FRIDAY, so the ENTIRE weekend will be mine.

My co-workers like to talk about my age, my boss even chimes in. When we have dinners/meet & greets - he asks the server for a glass of milk for 'the baby'.

I am 31 and rolling up on 32 in a couple of months. It's amazing how time flies, isn't it? I remember becoming an AKA like it was yesterday, but that yesterday happened almost 10 years ago! *LOL* I am glad to have reached my 30's without any angst or bad feelings; I am loving every minute of it! I hope that the Lord will permit us to live long, healthy lives...and that we look fine while doing it!
