I just wanted to put a tag on this for a second.
I am so thankful for the lessons I've learned from my mother and father. They worked hard in raising us. They were thoughtful, didn't spare the rod, loving, caring, and giving. Because I didn't have to be the woman that I am. But God had grace and allowed my parents to fear Him and because of that..they used wisdom raising my sister and I.
I know we are sitting here joking about the things our parents said and did. Some of this stuff had me in tears. But please don't forget to say "thank you" to your parents for being diligent enough to keep you on that straight path. When I think about it all...it didn't have to be this way. ;0
