I understand what you guys are saying about one being intentionally disresepctful when wearing your colors. But I have 5 favorite colors each with it's own unique reason for being chosen: 1)PINK (which is my MOST favorite)because it represents femeninity, when you think of pink most of the time you think of little girls. 2)Yellow (Gold) For just that reason GOLD (I'm a Gold digger, just kidding) 3)Green, Because it's the color of money 4) White because it's pure and 5)Black, because everyone looks good in black, lol

Now, I wear any combination of these colors, not to anger or disrespect anyone but these just happen to be what I have a lot of, I wear pink and green (and not to be snotty, but I do look nice in those colors, but I also look nice in any color that has the word hot or neon in front (I'm a dark skinned sister)), pink and yellow, green and yellow, black and green etc.

I think that people should be able to wear what they want too, If done tactfully, I'm not saying wear a pink green combo everyday, but I can't go a week with out wearing one of the colors, because their what's in my wardrobe. Now if I were to start doing the call and throwing up your sign...... LOL (I'm just kidding ladies please don't get mad)

But my point is that some people genuinely "L"ove these colors. And it shouldn't hurt your chance to become a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha!
