I didn't know any BGLOs before my freshman year. I attended the informationals because my roommate wanted to go and needed a support group. She initially wanted to go another route, but when we went to Delta Sigma Theta's informational, we both were so impressed by the genuineness and scholarship of the members that we decided to seek membership. After being chosen, we learned more about their service projects and we really thought they were "off the hook"! We all became involved in these projects and the match was made in heaven. I stayed when my roommate and best friend dropped out along the way, and I have been rewarded by having the most loving and supportive relationships I could ever desire, My Sorors.
