My college definitely upped it's general education requirements. I think a lot of it has to do with our allowing classes to have 3 credits - before they were only 2 & 4. I'm glad that I came in the year before they made a physical education requirement. The way I see it, if people want to be lazy or uninterested in athletics, let them.
