my family has had huskies for years, and they are amazing dogs- total sweethearts, and it's true- they don't bark (but they howl ). But huskies are a lot of work- you need to have a large backyard for them to run, or take them on walks 2x a day... they also shed a lot, which doesn't bother me, but it does bother some people... also, I will agree w/ valkyrie that they aren't going to be the most obidient dogs, lol you can teach them to do things, but will never be able to let them off leash (they will run)...

Basically, I absolutely love huskies and reccommend them, but just be aware that they require a lot
