I have been there. My father had the disease and unfortunately passed away when I was 11. I really do not remember too much the ins and outs. I don't know if I have intentionally repressed those memories or what. What I do know is that my mother stood by him every step of the way. I know there was alot of discomfort. Hopefully, your mother's prognosis is very hopeful. For my father, when he was diagnosed, it had spread all over his body, therefore, too late.
I hope and pray that your mother's condition goes into remission. Pray and have faith that the Lord will comfort you all. Remain strong for your mother and yourselves. She needs that right now.
