I know what you mean.
I got the ADPi "poverty badge" because I couldn't afford a better one... plus I was an alumna initiate when the colony chartered, so I didn't know if I'd still want to be involved. Five years later, I'm trying to figure out how to get a jeweled beauty! Don't think they can do opals, but maybe some mix of sapphires and aquamarines and blue topaz...
