If you are a female of at least 18 years of age you should go to the gyno once a year, regardless if you are sexually active, but especially if you are sexually active. Dionysis, I hope you go soon (though not at the behest of your friend) just in the interest of your own health. But this friend of yours for real needs to go to get bc pills because certain ones aren't good for people w/ certain conditions (or they're better for people w/ certain conditions). I can't stand how stupid some people can be (not you, dionysis, your ex-friend!!!

ETA: If I can go 4 times a year, then certainly anyone can go once, because you don't have to endure nearly what I do (early stages of cervical cancer).
