I would have no problem having kids if my husband were in the military. Are you a military BRAT? I'm an Army BRAT and obviously didn't grow up knowing any other way. As much as it sucked moving around a lot, you actually get used to it. When I was a kid, I had tons of pen pals. What kid doesn't like to get mail? Not to mention "going away parties"! While I have never lived overseas, I have lived in 6 different states. Some people never leave their hometown, and that's cool - but once you get used to moving around a lot, it gets in your blood. You end up like moving. I want a career where I can relocate if I want to. I think that exposing children to many different environments can only add to their life experience. I went from elementary school in CA, where a lot of my friends were Asian-American, to living on Long Island where I was the only white kid in my class and the majority were African-American. Living on a military base offers such support for families who have deployed loved ones. It's also a chance to make fast friends and enjoy many benefits. I feel very privileged to have grown up as a BRAT, and can honestly say it was the best time of my life...wait, it actually was my life!
And I still go to MacDill AFB (aka Central Command) for doctors appointments and shopping...those airmen are SO HOT! Makes me want to get sick more often
And to answer the question - I would DEFINITELY marry a soldier in THE US ARMY! (Why not a Navy man, you ask? Oh, cause my dad would disown me!

No, really though, he would!)
I support our troops!
