Someone mentioned revival....We had a one day revival at my church last night and it was awesome! The guest minister preached "Right Praise, Wrong Side" Taking his text from Exodus 15:21-22 (I'm doing this from memory so I hope I got the scripture correct.) The passage dealt with Miriam (Aaron and Moses' sister) leading a group of women in praise after the Isrealites crossed the Red Sea. He then took us to Exodus 14 where the people grumbled and complained to Moses because they thought they were going to die in the wilderness because Pharoah's army was closing in on them. The gist of the message was that it is easy to praise the Lord after he has delivered us, given us the victory, but what we must do if we truly wanted to be blessed is praise him Before & during the battle!! Grumbling and complaining puts our focus on satan---Praise puts our focus on the LORD!!! It was truly a 'reviving' message!!
