I used the same highlighting kit and color. Mine came out ok, but it is a LOT brighter than I was expecting. When I was washing it out it was purple so it was pretty frightening and I was thinking Oh No, what have I done! It's amazing that the same color could come out completely opposite! Good Luck with your hair and I hope it turns out the way you want it.
