I don't know the atmosphere on your campus but on mine these types of chants were said in fun. In fact when I crossed we sang a song about the Deltas who were my sands to the Brady Bunch tune and we poked fun at them of course but they knew it was all love. I believe in their next step show they sang a song about us to the Oscar Meyer (sp?) where their ending line was...well soror I'll just email it to you and it wasn't flattering but it was funny. Oftentimes the fraternities would do the same thing to each other but when it came down to it we all stuck together like family even those who chose not to pledge a fraternity or sorority at all. To sum it up, I agree. Soror be very mindful of what you say. If it isn't that type of party nix the chant.

On a lighter note Skee-Oop to my sands. Much love!
