As an answer to the original question, yes, there are some young ladies that would have to go a long way to prove to me that they have (recently) learned how to present themselves with class and style before I would be excited about offering them membership. It's not about being "hip" or "IN style". It's about knowing as the chair of a formal event that when they show up, they won't be in a skin-tight mini with a lepord print tube-top. It's about knowing that when we say "white dress ceremony" they don't go out and get a wedding dress.
