I joined Alpha Gam because I loved these girls from the instant I walked into the house. It was the only place where I felt like I could walk in as Stephanie and it would be ok to still be Stephanie when I joined. I knew that these were the women who would love me for me and not ask me to change, and I knew that I wouldn't change.

Joining Alpha Gamma Delta was the best decision I ever made. It's the best thing that ever happened to me. Alpha Gam happened and I love every minute of it.

4. I didn't transfer to the main campus until I was a Junior. I thought it would be a great way to meet people, receive support when I studied, be active in the community and have an opportunity for leadership positions.

The reason I liked Alpha Gamma Delta the best was that the chapter was very diverse (and I don't mean they had Blondes, Brunettes and Red Heads). We had many athletes, cheerleaders, talented musicians, many scholars and the chapter was very laid back. I found a lot of the sisters during rush to be fun AND interesting. They weren't all into "image", they were very much into being themselves.

It was 25 years ago, and I've never looked back

4) I don't have too many memories yet, since I've only been pledging for about a month, but the moment that really sticks out in my mind is having to leave the house on pref day. I told the girl who preffed me (who is now my sis mom) that I really didn't want to go to the other houses, and I hadn't even realized that Alpha Gam was my top choice until I said it. After that, I knew the right place for me.

4) Why you joined Alpha Gam and/or your fave memory of AGD.: Well, technically, I'm not an AGD yet...I just got my bid yesterday and accepted today...but that's beside the point! I joined because I went through continuous rush, just on a whim because I was slightly interested in Greek life, but wasn't really sure. I fell in love with the house and everyone there and, well, I'm going to bid night tomorrow! Don't really have memories yet, but I'm sure there will be many, many good memories made in the next four years!

Oh wow, where do I begin. Well this whole past semester of living in the house is full of amazing memories with my sisters. But I joined AGD because the girls were so laid back and relaxed. They seemed really down to earth, and I love that. =]
