My name is Sarah and I am a member of Beta Eta at Southern Illinois University. I choose Alpha Gamma Delta because I just knew on the first night of rush that I was supost to be in that house.

My name is Abby
I am a Alpha Gam @ eastern Mich. Univ. ZA Chapter.
Im a Soph. I joined Alpha Gam for many reasons. My first was that I had just changed schools, and I didnt know a single person, I went through open recruitment, and found a home in AGD. The girls were so down to earth, and just like my friends back home. I have never been more comfortable w/ a group of gilrs in my life. I also joined AGD b/c of what they stand for.
My fav. memory would be have to be greek week, I love seeing everybody come together.

Hi everyone my name is Jennifer

I am from the chapter of Delta Omicron @ UNLV

I chose AGD because as soon as I walked through the doors during recruitment I was so overwhelmed by all the excitement that I never wanted to leave. Everyone was so positive and there was this certain vibe in the air that would not leave I knew it was right.

My name is Tiffany Soto. I am a collegian, and I currently attend the University of Nevada - Las Vegas (Delta Omicron Chapter). I joined AGD because my chapter's community involvement was huge. I now serve on EC as our Philanthropy Coordinator (not allowed to have houses in Las Vegas). I look forward to chatting with all of you.

Welcome!! Maybe the next convention will be in Las Vegas!
Can you imagine 800 Squirrels gambling!

Course, 1 stipulation is that a portion HAS to go to the AGD Foundation.

BTW, I find it interesting that Philanthropy is on EC.

If y'all don't have a house, where do the members live?

Sometimes we chat on AIM but are using GC more and more! Usually start about 9:00 p.m. est or whenever someone is here, lol.

I know in my chapter, the EC officers include a "chair" position in addition to the traditional VP positions. They change every school year. Delta Sigma does not have a house either and the bulk of our members live in on campus, but there are even more who live off campus -- which is the norm because UHM's a mid-sized commuter campus anyway.

Welcome to GC Tiffany! A friend of mine from HS, Darcie, was a member of the Delta Omicron chapter as well.

Hi all, this is my first post as well, I just joined yesterday! What a better way to get ready for executive council!
Jessi ~ Alpha Kappa Chapter ~ Bowling Green State University

I pledged in Fall 01

I am currently still a collegian, but when I graduate I hope to attend a school that has an Alpha Gam chapter so that I know I will always have a place to call home.

I joined this amazing chapter because I just knew when I walked out the door it was the place for me. Yea, there were other places on campus I knew I would have liked, but I love these girls so much.

I am currently the VP scholarship, and if anyone has any ideas for me that would be great.

My favorite memory was sitting at Emerging Leaders a couple of weekends ago, and writing a letter to a member of my chapter that showed great leadership. This is a fav because it made me think of one special person who has always been there for me!

Welcome to Greek Chat Jessi and Brandi! Jessi.. we used to have TLC at BGSU every other summer and we all LOVE the shop that sells greek stuff there! In fact, we got them to come to our IRD last year because they have such great merchandise! I'm in Southeastern Michigan .. not too far away!

Welcome to the AGD boards ladies!

I am Rachel, a member of Delta Theta chapter, University of Idaho, pledge class of 1990.

I have been a lurker for a while...3 kids...new job...busy busy busy...I am sure you can all appreciate the busy part.

Anyway, welcome and enjoy the boards. I really enjoy reading all the posts on GC about campus and greek life today plus going down "squirrel memory lane"...

Hi my name is Kathy and I graduated in 2003 from the Delta Tau chapter at Chapman University in Orange, CA. I joined AGD because I thought it would be fun to start a new sorority on our campus and I wasn't disappointed. All my close friends are Alpha Gams.
