If you want popcorn from Garretts you should go to the one on State Street, it is the same owner and the popcorn is just as great and you will not have to wait in line.
The Hancock is great but I would not eat there, it is expensive, you can eat in the WaterTower at Mighty Nice Grill, great resterant and not expensive and then you can go next door to the Hancock for drinks and get the same view, if you are not 21 you can still be up there and drink "soda".
Ben Pao, is off Michagan and they have really good food, it is by the Harley Davidson shop, or the Weber Grill. I also suggest The Grand Lux, it is by the Omni hotel-where Oprahs guests stay- and they have soooo many things to eat there.
If you want to go off Michigan Ave you can go to Wishbone on Washington by Harpo studios(no I do not work for Oprah) and they have AMAZING things to eat.
This weekend is the Car Show, which can be fun. You must visit Millinium Park- you can walk around and it is all lit up and you can go ice skating for really cheap.
